Panellinios close to Blakney and Erceg

According to greekbball.blogspot.com, Panellinios are going to replace William Avery(1.90-PG) with Roderick Blakney(1.85-PG) and there is a possibility they will acquire Zoran Erceg(2.09-PF) from Olympiakos.

William Avery recently failed the medical tests that Panellinios put him through and so he could no longer be a player for the Greek team. His replacement will be by the looks of things, veteran of the European courts, Roderick Blakney(1.85-PG). Blakney although being a citizen of the Dominican Republic he is also the owner of a Bulgarian passport. That makes him very appealing as a player in Europe and he's got extensive experience from the Greek league, having played for Iraklis, AEK, Maroussi and Olympiakos. Last season he played for Turk Telekom averaging 6.7 points 1.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 30 games in the Turkish League.

On a sidenote, Panellinios are interested in acquiring Zoran Erceg from Olympiakos on a loan agreement but Erceg would like to play for a Euroleague team so this might not go down.
