Nando Gentile resigned from Roma

The head coach of Virtus Roma made his resignation known to the team's administration.

It was announced via Roma's official website that head coach Nando Gentile decided to step down from his post because of the bad results of Roma. The team had 4 stright losses in the Euroleague and their record in the Italian league comes to 3-6.

According to Roma's website, the President Toti noted with regret the decision of the coach, which would have continued until the end of the season, but he understands the difficult situation and he appreciated the gesture of the coach towards the team and their fans.
