Khimki added Ricky Minard

A late addition for BC Khmki, this time it's Ricky Minard.


BC Khimki announced via their official website the signing of swingman Ricky Minard(2.00-SG/SF), formerly of Virtus Roma, until the end of the season. In Khimki they are preparing for the playoffs and Minard will strengthen their roster in the shooting guard and small forward positions and will also add depth to their bench. Head coach Sergio Skariolo said that Minard will add another valuable player to their roster and also safeguard them against any possible injuries.

Minard was drafter at number 48 by the Sacramento Kings in 2004 but he never made it to the NBA.In Europe he has played in Italy for Biella, Reggio Emilia, Montegranaro and most recently for Virtus Roma. He averaged 8.6 points 2.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 18 games for the LegaA1.

What about the rumors of waiving Cabezas and Lopez off Khimki?? Is Minard's signing the first step to these waivings?
